1.5 oz Glenfiddich 12yr Single Malt Scotch

1 oz ALTAR Bliss

1 barspoon of Galliano

1 barspoon of honey syrup

2 dashes of Apple bitters

 

Garnish with a dehydrated apple wheel slice

Pour all ingredients in bucket glass.  Add ice and stir 4 times.  Garnish with a dehydrated apple wheel slice.

1 oz Premium Malt Whiskey
1 oz Tomr's Tonic
1 oz Lemon Juice
Soda Water

 

Mix all ingredients in a cocktail
shaker. Shake and strain over fresh
ice. Top with soda water. Garnish
with a candied lemon wheel.

1 1/2 oz Premium Distilled Gin
3 drops of Apple Cider Vinegar
1/4 oz Premium Elderflower Liqueur
Lemon Peel Garnish

 

Ice down a martini glass while
you stir the first three ingredients.
Dump out the ice water and rinse
the martini glass with elderflower
liqueur, then use a julep strainer to
strain the cocktail into the martini
glass. Garnishl with a lemon peel.

Blissful Dry Martini Altar

1 1/2 oz ALTAR Bliss
1 1/2 oz Premium Vodka
1/8 oz Dry Vermouth

 

Fill mixing glass 3/4 the way up with ice and "season" it with the vermouth by adding the vermouth stirring in. Pouring if off, add the Vodka and Bliss and stir. Strain in a cocktail glass. Garnish by spraying the cocktail with lemon oil and rubbing the rim of the glass from a slice of lemon peel. Float it on top with the pith facing down.

 

Bliss Rickey Chill-Collins

1/2 oz Apricot Liqueur
1/2 oz St. Germain
3 dashes Premium Plum Bitters
1/2 oz Fresh Lime Juice

 

Shake all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Strain into a Collins glass filled with ice. Top with soda water. Garnish with used lime half or a lime wheel. 

 

Alchemist Punch Chill-Martini

6 oz ALTAR Bliss
1 Medium Orange, Quartered
8 Mint Leaves
4 tsp Agave Nectar
2 splashes Soda Water
Ice

 

Fill 2 Collins glasses halfway with
ice. Put oranges, mint, and agave
into a cocktail shake. Muddle
until oranges have been juiced
and mint is fragrant. Add Bliss.
Cover and shake well. Distribute
mixture evenly among glasses. Top
each with a splash of soda water.
Garnish with oranges and mint.
Serve cold.

CULINARY DISCOVERIES

 

Blissful Cupcakes

1/4 cup ALTAR Bliss
2 1/2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
2 tsp Baking Powder
1/4 tsp Salt
1 1/2 sticks Unsalted
Butter (softened)
1 1/2 cups Granulated Sugar
2 Large Eggs
1 cups Milk (preferably whole)

 

1. Line two cupcake pans with paper liners, set aside. Preheat oven to 375°. In a medium bowl,
sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
2. In a large bowl beat the butter and sugary, about three minutes. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add 2 tablespoons of ALTAR Bliss.
3. Add one-third of the flour mixture and beat to combine. Add half of the milk and beat to combine. Add another third of the flour, then the remaining ALTAR Bliss, milk and then the rest of the flour, beating to combine after each addition.
4. Pour the batter into the cupcake liners about 2/3 of the way full. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until the cupcakes are golden-brown and spring back when pressed lightly. Transfer to a wire rack, cool completely, then frost.

 

Blissful Cupcake Frosting

1/4 cup ALTAR Bliss
1 3/4 sticks unsalted butter, softened
6 to 8 cups confectioners’ sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup milk (preferably whole)

 

In a large bowl, beat the butter with an electric mixer for 1 minute. Add 6 cups of confectioners’ sugar, the vanilla, ALTAR Bliss and the milk. Beat low until creamy. Gradually add the remaining confectioners’ sugar, until the frosting is thick
and creamy.
