1 oz Art of Age Root

0.5 oz Art of Age Snap

1 oz Altar Chill

0.75 oz blood orange juice

0.75 oz simple syrup

Top off with ginger beer

Garnish with a candied blood orange slice

 

Mix all ingredients in tin or glass sans ginger beer.  Add ice and shake.  Strain over fresh ice in Collins glass.  Top off with ginger beer.  Garnish with a candied blood orange slice.

Tranquil Breeze altar

3 oz ALTAR Chill
1 oz Premium Organic Vodka
2 Kumquats
1 oz Pineapple Juice

 

Mix ALTAR Chill, vodka, and pineapple juice in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake, strain, serve up in a martini glass. Float juice from one kumquat on top. Cut second kumquat in half lengthwise and use as garnish.

 

Mexi-Cali Fizz  altar

1 oz ALTAR Chill
2 oz Premium Mezcal
3/4 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
3/4 oz Almond Syrup
1/2 oz Cream
1/2 oz Egg White
2 Dashes of Orange Flower Water
1 Dash of Bitters

 

Mix all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Dry shake. Add ice, shake
and strain. Top with soda water.

 

Valley of Ashes  Altar

2 oz ALTAR Chill
1 oz Premium Light Rum
1 oz Cocchi Americano Rose
1/2 oz Honey Simple (50/50 blend
of honey and water)
1/2 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
Ginger Beer

Shake all ingredients in a shaker with ice, double strain into a Collins glass filled with ice. Top with ginger beer. Garnish with a lemon wedge.

 

Tres Barcos  Altar

1 1/2 oz ALTAR Chill
3/4 oz Premium Elderflower Liqueur
1 1/2 oz Premium Dark Rum
1/2 oz Simple Syrup
6 Chunks of pear
1/8 tsp Nutmeg
3/4 oz Lemon Juice

 

Muddle pears and nutmeg. Shake everything together and serve in a collins glass with ice

1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
3 Sprigs of Mint

 

Mix all ingredients. Shake and strain over fresh ice. (optional: fill with soda water, ginger beer, iced tea)

3 cubes Muddled Pineapple
1 tbsp Fresh Muddled Coconut
1 oz Sparkling Water

Mix all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Shake, strain and serve up.

 

CULINARY DISCOVERIES

 

Altar’d Panna Cotta

2 cups ALTAR Chill, divided
3 tsp gelatin
2 cups half-and-half
1/2 cup sugar
kosher salt
1 tsp vanilla
cooking spray
1 1/2 cups mixed berries
2 tbsp ALTAR Chill
1 tbsp sugar
kosher salt

 

1. Place 1 1/2 cups of Altar Chill into a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin on top. Let stand for 5 minutes or until gelatin dissolves; set aside.
2. In a small saucepan, combine half and half, sugar and salt; bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and gelatin mixture; whisk until combined.
3. Spray 6 ramekins lightly with cooking spray. Divide mixture evenly among ramekins; chill for at least 4 hours or until set.
4. For the berries: Combine remaining ingredients; mix well. To serve: Run a knife along the sides of the ramekin to release the panna cotta. Transfer to a plate, top with macerated berries.
